One such project in New York City was the two tile murals in the arcade of the IRT station at Clark Street, Brooklyn. This article describes the work done by the three artists, Alan Samalin, Johan Sellenraad and Joe Stallone from start to finish.

An account of the resource
A discussion of the ceramic tile murals of Jean Nison (b. 1922), who is an almost-forgotten mid-20th century modern ceramic artist. Nison was active from the early 1950s through the mid-1960s. Some of her commissions included the Tichenor residence in Long Beach, CA; the Lippincott residence in Scarsdale, NY; the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Berkeley, CA; the "Arts of Daily Living" exhibit in Pomona, CA; and Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. She exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Ctafts and the Dallas Museum of Art.
